A reading tracker for people who read worlds, not just books.
Why it exists
Every tracker on the shelf is built around the single book. That works until the book belongs to a series, the series belongs to a universe, and the universe has eleven more of them — at which point the question stops being "did I read this" and becomes "where do I start, what have I missed, and what is left". No tracker answers that, and the sites that map the worlds do not know what you have read.
Loreful is built at that crossing: the catalog knows what a universe contains and the order worth reading it in, and your shelf knows how far into it you are. Public pages need no account — the atlas is the whole picture, free, before you sign up for anything.
Who runs it
Loreful is a small independent project, run by Bahdan Bakunovich — a sole proprietorship registered in Poland. The registration details are on the terms and the privacy policy, which are also where the legally binding version of anything on this page lives.
Data and summaries
The catalog is built on open bibliographic data — ISFDB, Wikipedia, Wikidata and Open Library — with every licence and credit on Data sources & licenses. A description quoted from one of them carries that source beside it; one written for Loreful says "Summary by Loreful, from public sources". The FAQ explains where every description comes from.
Plans
The catalog keeps growing — more worlds, more series, and more languages than the English-language core it started from. More of the product is coming too, including a collector's module for the physical copies on your actual shelves. No dates: it ships when it is good, and you will see it here when it does.
