Aaron Dembski-Bowden

Aaron Dembski-Bowden is a British author born in 1980 in London, and one of the most prominent writers working for Games Workshop's Black Library imprint. He is best known for his contributions to the Horus Heresy series, particularly The First Heretic and Betrayer, which chronicle the fall of the Word Bearers and World Eaters Space Marine Legions into Chaos, alongside The Master of Mankind, one of the series' pivotal entries. His Night Lords trilogy (Soul Hunter, Blood Reaver, Void Stalker) follows a Chaos Space Marine warband navigating loyalty and damnation in the grim far future of Warhammer 40,000, and he has also written extensively for the Black Legion and Space Marine Battles lines. Dembski-Bowden's fiction is known for its morally complex, often sympathetic treatment of Warhammer's traditionally villainous factions.
