Abi Elphinstone

Abi Elphinstone is a Scottish author of children's fantasy fiction who studied English at the University of Bristol and worked as a teacher in schools in England and Tanzania before publishing her debut novel in 2015. She is best known for The Dreamsnatcher, which follows a girl who can enter people's dreams and launched a trilogy continued in The Shadow Keeper and The Night Spinner, and for Sky Song, part of The Unmapped Chronicles, a series of fantasy adventures across imagined magical lands continued in The Bickery Twins and the Phoenix Tear and Saving Neverland. She has since begun the Ember Spark series. Several of her books have reached bestseller charts, and she serves as a trustee for the Lamp of Lothian charity while supporting UK children's literacy organizations.
