Adam-Troy Castro

Adam-Troy Castro is an American writer of science fiction, fantasy, and horror, born in 1960, who lives in Wildwood, Florida. Across nearly two hundred stories and novels he has built one of the most award-nominated bodies of work in the field, with eight Nebula Award and two Hugo Award nominations alongside three Bram Stoker Award nominations and a World Fantasy Award nomination; his novella Emissaries from the Dead won the 2009 Philip K. Dick Award. He is best known for the Andrea Cort series of science-fiction novels, following a traumatized interstellar diplomat and investigator, and for the illustrated middle-grade Gustav Gloom series. Castro has also written extensively in media tie-in fiction, including a trilogy featuring Spider-Man's Sinister Six, and has won Analog magazine's reader-voted award multiple times.
