Adrienne Young

Adrienne Young is an American author of young-adult and adult fantasy fiction. Her YA novels include the Sky in the Deep duology, opening with Sky in the Deep (2018), a Viking-inspired story of warring clans, and the Fable duology, beginning with Fable (2020), a nautical adventure about a young woman surviving among salvage-diving pirates to reclaim her place among them; she later added the standalone Fallen City (2025) to that world. Young's adult fiction, including Spells for Forgetting (2022) and The Unmaking of June Farrow (2023), shifts toward moody, atmospheric small-town mysteries that blend magic and romance. She has also co-written a nonfiction guide to craft, The Storyteller's Workbook, with fellow author Isabel Ibañez.
