Alec Hutson

Alec Hutson is an American writer of epic fantasy. He debuted with The Crimson Queen (2016), first in his Raveling series, which placed third in the third annual Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off contest (SPFBO 3) in 2017. He returned to the competition five years later with The Umbral Storm (2022), which placed fifth in SPFBO 8. Hutson has since expanded his fictional world across further series, including Swords and Saints, The Sharded Few, and Empire of Flame & Fang, building an interconnected setting spanning multiple story arcs.
