Alexandra Monir

Alexandra Monir is an American author of young-adult fiction who also works as a singer-songwriter, having composed original music to accompany her novels. She debuted with Timeless (2011), a young-adult urban fantasy romance that launched her Timeless series alongside Timekeeper and Suspicion, blending time travel with New York high society. She later co-created The Final Six, a science-fiction novel about teenagers competing to join a mission to Europa, and continued young-adult speculative fiction with The Life Below and Realm of Wonders, part of her Queen's Council series. Monir has also written within established franchises, contributing the DC tie-in novel Black Canary: Breaking Silence (2020), reimagining the superhero for a young-adult readership. Her work consistently pairs genre premises with romance-driven, character-focused storytelling.
