Alexi Zentner is a Canadian-American novelist born in Kitchener, Ontario, in 1973. He holds a BA from Grinnell College and an MFA from Cornell University, and teaches at Binghamton University. His novels include Touch (2011), The Lobster Kings (2014), and Copperhead (2019); under the pen name Ezekiel Boone he also writes horror, including The Hatching and its sequels, Skitter and Zero Day. His short fiction has appeared in The Atlantic and Narrative Magazine and won the Narrative Prize and an O. Henry Prize special mention. Touch was longlisted for the Scotiabank Giller Prize, and The Lobster Kings was shortlisted for the Governor General's Award.
