Alfred Tella

Alfred Tella (1933-2020) is credited as co-author, alongside veteran science fiction and fantasy writer Piers Anthony, of The Willing Spirit (1996), his only listed published novel. The book appears among a run of collaborative novels Anthony produced from the 1990s onward with previously unpublished writers, pairing his established craft and name recognition with an outside collaborator's original story idea or draft manuscript. Tella was born in Rhode Island and lived to age 87; no further public information about his career or background beyond this credited collaboration has been located.
