Ali Hazelwood

Ali Hazelwood is the pen name of an Italian-born writer who earned a Ph.D. in neuroscience in the United States and worked as a professor before turning to fiction full-time in 2022. She writes romance novels centered on women in STEM and academia, beginning with her 2021 debut, The Love Hypothesis, a New York Times bestseller for more than forty weeks that was later adapted into a film. She followed it with Love on the Brain, Love, Theoretically, Check & Mate, and the paranormal romances Bride and Mate. Bride was named to the New York Public Library's Best Books for Adults list in 2024.
