Alvaro Zinos-Amaro

Alvaro Zinos-Amaro (born 1979 in Madrid, Spain) is a science-fiction writer, critic, and editor. He is a frequent reviewer and interviewer for venues including Strange Horizons and Locus, and co-authored When the Blue Shift Comes (2012) with veteran SF novelist Robert Silverberg, a novella exploring the far future of humanity aboard a generation ship. His nonfiction book Traveler of Worlds: Conversations with Robert Silverberg was a finalist for the Hugo Award for Best Related Work. Zinos-Amaro has also collaborated with Adam-Troy Castro on short fiction, including "A Touch of Heart" and "The Mouth of the Oyster." His work sits at the intersection of SF criticism, interview journalism, and short fiction, often engaging directly with the genre's senior generation of writers.
