Amanda Flower (born January 23, 1980, in Akron, Ohio) is an American writer of mystery novels for adult and young-adult readers, publishing under her own name and the pen name Isabella Alan. Her catalog spans several cozy-mystery series, including the India Hayes mysteries, the Amish Candy Shop Mysteries, and A Magical Bookshop Mystery — the series comprising Crime and Poetry, Prose and Cons, Crimes and Covers, Verse and Vengeance and Murders and Metaphors — which follows a small-town bookshop entangled in local intrigue. Writing as Isabella Alan, she has also produced an Amish Quilt Shop series. Flower won the 2015 Agatha Award for Best Children's/Young Adult Novel for Andi Unstoppable and has received several further Agatha Award nominations across her career.
