Amanda Marrone is an American author of young adult and middle-grade fiction, much of it featuring vampires, ghosts, and other supernatural creatures. She grew up on Long Island, earned a B.A. in education from SUNY Cortland, and taught elementary school in New Hampshire before turning to writing full time; she now lives in Connecticut. Her novels include Devoured, Uninvited, and Slayed, alongside the middle-grade Magic Repair Shop series - among them The Multiplying Menace, The Shape-Shifter's Curse, and Master of Mirrors - about a young apprentice who fixes broken enchanted objects. Her books have been published by imprints of Simon & Schuster.
