Amanda Pillar

Amanda Pillar is an Australian editor and author working in horror, dark fantasy, and paranormal romance, born in 1983. She first made her name editing horror and dark speculative fiction anthologies, including Scenes from the Second Storey and Grants Pass (with Jennifer Brozek), and Ishtar (with K. V. Taylor), which drew notice within the Australian horror scene and earned Aurealis and Ditmar Award recognition. As a novelist she writes paranormal romance and urban fantasy, including the Graced series and related titles such as Winged Passion, Ascending Passion, and Benevolent Passion, as well as the horror novel Bloodstones. Her career spans both curating other writers' short horror fiction and writing her own supernatural romance.
