Amy Griswold

Amy Griswold is an American author who has written both licensed tie-in fiction and original historical mystery. She contributed to the Stargate Atlantis novel line, co-writing Allegiance with Melissa Scott alongside other authors in the same shared-universe program, including Jo Graham. Griswold and Scott also collaborate on original historical mystery-romance fiction featuring the gay detective pair Ned Mathey and Julian Lynes, beginning with Death by Silver and continuing through A Death at the Dionysus Club, set in an alternate Victorian London where magic is real. Her fiction moves between licensed science-fiction media tie-ins and inventive queer historical mystery with fantastical elements.
