Angel Leya

Angel Leya is an American writer of young adult fantasy romance, known for clean, slow-burn stories that blend fairy-tale, urban, and epic fantasy settings with romantic subplots. She co-created the Shifter Academy shared world and writes within it as well as in her own series; her Siren Prophecy series, beginning with Scorched, became a USA Today bestseller. Other works include the Shifting Alliances novels and the Illumia series, which opens with Running Toward Illumia. Leya has cited authors such as Tamora Pierce, Stephanie Garber, and Leigh Bardugo as influences on her writing. She is a wife and mother of four, and her fiction grew out of a lifelong fascination with romantic pairings and destined-to-be-together couples.
