Anne Logston

Anne Logston is an American fantasy author born in Indiana in 1962, who earned an associate degree in computer science and a BA in English from the University of Indianapolis and worked as a legal secretary before publishing fiction. She is best known for the Shadow series, following an elvan thief and her niece across five novels: Shadow, Shadow Hunt, Shadow Dance, Dagger's Edge, and Dagger's Point. Her standalone fantasy novels include Greendaughter, Guardian's Key and its sequel Exile, which follows the original protagonist's daughter, along with Wild Blood, Waterdance, and Firewalk. Active chiefly through the 1990s and into the early 2000s, Logston's fiction centers on morally flexible, often roguish protagonists navigating adventure-driven fantasy worlds.
