Antoine Bandele

Antoine Bandele is an author of African-inspired fantasy from Los Angeles, California. He is best known for Tales from Esowon, a fantasy series exploring a West African-influenced world, beginning with The Kishi (2018) and continuing through Last of My Kind (2019) and Stoneskin (2020), alongside the companion Lost Tales from Esowon collection, including By Sea & Sky (2020) and Of Ruin & Silk (2021). He also writes The Sky Pirate Chronicles, an adventure fantasy series, and the TJ Young & the Orishas books. Bandele's fiction draws on West African mythology and folklore to build epic fantasy worlds outside the traditional European mold.
