Ashley Capes

Ashley Capes is an Australian poet, novelist, and former teacher who has also worked as a musician, gallery assistant, in music retail, and as a legal secretary. Alongside his poetry collections, he writes epic fantasy, including The Book of Never series, beginning with City of Masks, and its continuation The Bone Mask Cycle, as well as the post-apocalyptic Slaves of the New World and the Reed Lavender series. Capes continues to publish poetry alongside his fiction, drawing partly on his travels through Italy, and maintains an active online presence across both strands of his writing.
