B. B. Alston

B. B. Alston is an American author of middle-grade fantasy. He is best known for the Amari trilogy - Amari and the Night Brothers, Amari and the Great Game, and Amari and the Despicable Wonders - following a girl who discovers she can join a secret government agency that polices the supernatural after her brother disappears; the debut novel won the Overall Winner prize at the Barnes & Noble Children's & YA Book Awards and became a number-one New York Times bestseller. Universal Pictures has optioned the series for a feature film adaptation. Alston's books have been published in more than thirty countries, and he continued the series with Amari and the Metalwork Menace.
