B. Kristin McMichael is an American young-adult fantasy author best known for The Night Human World, a multi-trilogy saga beginning with The Legend of the Blue Eyes and continuing through The Day Human Trilogy and The Skinwalkers Witchling Trilogy, following parallel human and supernatural societies bound by prophecy. She also writes The Chalcedony Chronicles, a gemstone-themed fantasy series, The Merworld Trilogy, centered on mermaid mythology, and contributes to the collaborative Kingdom of Fairytales series with an installment reimagining Little Red Riding Hood.
