B. V. Larson

B. V. Larson is an American author of military and space-opera science fiction from Turlock, California. He is best known for the long-running Undying Mercenaries series, beginning with Steel World, which follows soldiers who can be cloned back to life after death, and for the Star Force series, an alien-invasion saga beginning with Swarm. His novel Starship Liberator, co-written with David VanDyke as part of the Galactic Liberation series, was a Dragon Award finalist. Larson has built a large catalog of self-published military science fiction across additional series including Haven, Pax Solis, and Red Company, generally favoring fast-paced, high-body-count action and morally uncomplicated soldier protagonists.
