Barbara Fienberg

Barbara Fienberg is the co-author, with fellow Australian writer Anna Fienberg and illustrator Kim Gamble, of the long-running Tashi series of illustrated chapter books for children, first published in 1995. Over three decades the collaboration has produced dozens of volumes, including Tashi and the Genie, Tashi and the Baba Yaga, Tashi and the Ghosts, and Tashi Lost in the City, along with later omnibus collections gathering the stories for new readers. The series has remained a mainstay of Australian children's publishing, and Fienberg continues to be credited across its many print editions and reissues.
