Ben Galley (born 1987 in Cambridge, England) is a British fantasy author now based in Victoria, British Columbia. After a brief attempt at a Royal Air Force career, he turned fully to writing at twenty while working in bars, restaurants, and a pasty kiosk, publishing his fantasy debut in 2010 and building a career as one of the more prominent voices in self-published fantasy. His work includes the Emaneska series, the Chasing Graves Trilogy, and the weird-western Scarlet Star Trilogy, which opens with Bloodrush. Bloodrush was the readers' favorite in the 2016 Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off and won a Library Journal Indie eBook of the Year award for fantasy, while The Heart of Stone won Best Self-Published Novel at the 2017 Booknest Fantasy Awards. Galley also works as a self-publishing consultant and speaker.
