Benjamin Medrano

Benjamin Medrano is an American fantasy and science-fiction author, born in October 1985 and raised primarily in Utah. He began attempting to write in high school without much success, channeling most of his early creative energy into tabletop role-playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder instead. That background shows in his fiction, which frequently returns to elves, succubi, and other RPG-inflected fantasy staples across series including Lilith's Shadow, Through the Fire, Ancient Dreams, Talyn's Saga, and the Beesong Chronicles. Medrano has described his fantasy work as almost inevitably featuring elves or succubi, with anything free of both more likely to fall under his science fiction rather than fantasy output.
