Benjamin Percy

Benjamin Percy is an American author born in 1978 in Eugene, Oregon, educated at Brown University and Southern Illinois University. His fiction blends literary technique with horror and speculative premises, as in Red Moon, which reimagines werewolf mythology as a geopolitical epidemic, and The Dead Lands, a post-apocalyptic reimagining of the Lewis and Clark expedition. His Comet Cycle series, beginning with The Ninth Metal and continuing in The Unfamiliar Garden and The Sky Vault, follows the fallout of a meteor strike on a small American town. Percy is also a prolific comics writer, having written Green Arrow and Teen Titans for DC and X-Force, Wolverine, and Ghost Rider for Marvel, and in 2025 began co-writing The End Times with Stephen King, set in the world of The Stand.
