Brenda Joyce

Brenda Joyce (born c. 1963 in New York State) is an American author of historical and contemporary romance novels, who has also published as B.D. Joyce. She sold her first novel at twenty-five and has since written more than thirty novels, including the multi-generational de Warenne Dynasty series. Her debut, Innocent Fire, won the Romance Writers of America's Best Western Romance award, and she has also received the Best Historical Romance award and Romantic Times' Lifetime Achievement Award. In the Masters of Time series, which includes Dark Seduction, Dark Rival, and Dark Embrace, she turns to paranormal romance, following psychically gifted heroines drawn into love affairs that cross centuries. Joyce lives in Arizona with her husband and son.
