Brendan Deneen

Brendan Deneen is an American writer and editor working across novels, comics, and media tie-in fiction. He has written extensively in licensed universes, including the Marvel tie-in Annihilation: Conquest, an Alien franchise novel (Alien: Uncivil War), a Conan novel for the character's ongoing prose line, and children's graphic novels such as Green Arrow: Stranded. His original horror and thriller fiction includes The Ninth Circle and The Chrysalis, and he created the Shadow Lab series, a science-fiction horror story continued in Tracer and a second volume. Deneen has also worked in comics publishing and development, co-writing titles such as Scatterbrain and contributing to independent comics ventures, and he is associated with the Algonkian Writers Conference as an industry professional. His output spans creator-owned horror fiction and work-for-hire franchise storytelling in roughly equal measure.
