Brendan Reichs

Brendan Reichs (born 1978) is an American author of young adult thriller and horror fiction from Charlotte, North Carolina. He graduated from Wake Forest University and earned a law degree from George Washington University, practicing as a litigation attorney before turning to fiction full-time, and later earned an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts. He co-created the bestselling Tory Brennan/Virals series with his mother, forensic novelist Kathy Reichs, following a teenage descendant of Temperance Brennan whose exposure to an experimental virus grants her enhanced senses. On his own, Reichs writes the Project Nemesis trilogy (Nemesis, Genesis, Chrysalis), about teenagers who wake up repeatedly reliving the day of their deaths in a shadowy town, and The Darkdeep, a middle-grade adventure series co-written with Ally Condie about a hidden world beneath a small-town lake. He lives in Charlotte with his children.
