Brenna Yovanoff

Brenna Yovanoff is an American writer of young adult paranormal fiction. She had an unconventional upbringing—raised in Arkansas before her family moved to Colorado at age five, and homeschooled in a barn, a tent, and a tepee until high school. She became a New York Times bestselling author with The Replacement (2010), a dark fantasy about a changeling raised in a town with a sinister bargain at its heart, and followed it with The Space Between, Paper Valentine, Fiendish, and Places No One Knows. Her short fiction also appears in the collaborative Curiosities anthology series. She later wrote Runaway Max, a novel set in the world of the television series Stranger Things.
