Brian Andrews

Brian Andrews, born December 7, 1982, in Boston, is an American author who served as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy before working as a nuclear engineer, and holds degrees from Vanderbilt University and Cornell University. Writing together with Jeffrey Wilson as the duo Andrews and Wilson, he co-created the military-thriller Tier One series and the faith-based Shepherds series, which includes the standalone novel The Sandbox, along with the Sons of Valor spin-off books; the pair also wrote three novels continuing Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan franchise between 2023 and 2025. On his own, Andrews writes the Think Tank series, opening with The Calypso Directive, and the thriller Reset. Marketed as bestselling authors of military fiction, Andrews and Wilson draw heavily on their own Navy backgrounds for authenticity.
