Brian D. Anderson

Brian D. Anderson is an American fantasy author, born in 1971, whose work centers on large-scale epic fantasy series built around gods, magic, and multi-book quests. He is best known for The Godling Chronicles, beginning with The Sword of Truth, an epic fantasy sequence that grew across multiple sequels including A Trial of Souls, Of Gods and Elves, and The Shadow of Gods. He has also written the multi-volume Dragonvein series, along with the Akiri, The Sorcerer's Song, and The Vale fantasy sequences, and the more recent Talos series. His novels are traditionally structured epic fantasy, built on prophecy, ancient magic systems, and multi-viewpoint casts spread across interconnected story-worlds.
