C. Gockel

C. Gockel is an American author of science fiction and urban fantasy who began writing fanfiction before turning to original fiction at her readers' urging. By day she has worked as a digital designer, copywriter, and coder, which she has joked is more dependable than fiction income alone. She is best known for the Archangel Project series, a science-fiction saga blending artificial intelligence and Norse mythology, and for I Bring the Fire, an urban fantasy series reimagining the Norse trickster god Loki in the present day. Gockel has continued to expand both series with further installments and companion volumes, including the Convergence sequence tied to the Archangel Project, while keeping her prose light and self-deprecating about her own path from hobbyist to published novelist.
