C. L. Werner

C. L. Werner is a British author of horror and tie-in fiction, best known for his extensive contributions to Games Workshop's Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 lines for the Black Library imprint. His Warhammer Fantasy work includes the witch-hunter novels centered on Matthias Thulmann, beginning with Matthias Thulmann: Witch Hunter, the bounty-hunter adventures of Brunner, and contributions to the Age of Sigmar setting such as Hammers of Sigmar and Wolf of Sigmar, while his Warhammer 40,000 fiction includes The Siege of Castellax. He has also written zombie-outbreak fiction for the Zombicide game tie-in line, including City of the Undead and Age of the Undead, and published at least one title under the pseudonym Bruno Lee. Werner's fiction favors grim, blood-soaked action within Games Workshop's established settings.
