C. M. Simpson is an Australian science fiction and fantasy author from Queensland, known for contributing to Michael Anderle's shared-universe Kurtherian Gambit setting with The Magic Below Paris. Her Mack 'n' Me series follows a bonded human-and-creature pair through adventure and trade across a fantastical frontier, in books such as Mack 'n' Me: Origins and Mack 'n' Me: Arach. She also writes The Strays of Lunar One, a science-fiction series, and Chronicles of a Dark God, a darker fantasy line, alongside standalone short fiction gathered in her own C.
