Carl Alves

Carl Alves (born 1973 in Philadelphia) is an American author working across horror, fantasy, and science fiction. His Blood Street Chronicles opens with Blood Street, a vampire thriller, and continues through sequels including Return to Blood Street, blending horror conventions with an ongoing serialized plot. His other novels move between genres, from the alien-conquest science fiction of Reconquest: Mother Earth to the mythological adventure of Beyond Ragnarok and the psychologically tinged horror of The Invocation, while his collection Wormholes and Other Unlikely Places gathers his shorter speculative fiction. Alves maintains an active author platform where he also reviews other writers' work in the speculative fiction genre, and several of his novels, including Two for Eternity, have found audiences among readers of genre-blending horror and fantasy adventure.
