Catherine Doyle is an Irish author of children's and young-adult fiction who grew up in the west of Ireland and holds first-class degrees in psychology and publishing. She debuted with the Blood for Blood trilogy (Vendetta, Inferno, Mafiosa), a young-adult romance often described as Romeo and Juliet meets The Godfather, before turning to middle-grade fiction with The Storm Keeper's Island, set on the island of Arranmore where her grandparents grew up and inspired by her family's real-life sea rescues. She later co-wrote the fantasy duology Twin Crowns. Doyle has authored Sunday Times and New York Times-bestselling novels and received a number of accolades across both her YA and middle-grade work.
