Cathy Clamp is an American author of contemporary fantasy and paranormal romance, born in 1961 in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Since 1997 she has co-written extensively with C. T. Adams, both under their own names, on the werewolf-focused Tales of the Sazi series and the Thrall trilogy, and under the joint pen name Cat Adams on the Blood Singer series for Tor Books, following a bodyguard who becomes part-vampire after an attack. Their novel Touch of Madness won the 2007 Contemporary Paranormal Romance Award from Romantic Times magazine. Clamp, who lives in the Texas Hill Country, has also written the Luna Lake series and contributed to the Magic novels published under the Cat Adams name, building a long career across werewolf, vampire, and psychic-detective fiction.
