Chloë Rayban

Chloë Rayban is a British author born in 1944 who writes for children and young adults, known for near-future and technology-themed fiction aimed at teenage readers. She is best known for the Wild Child series and for a run of standalone speculative novels, including Virtual Sexual Reality, Love. In Cyberia, and Terminal Chic, which use gadget-driven near futures to explore teenage identity, body image, and relationships in an increasingly virtual world. Her fiction anticipated many real shifts in how young people relate to technology and media, delivered with a light, satirical touch aimed at older children and teens. Rayban has published steadily across juvenile and YA fiction for several decades.
