Chris A. Jackson is an American fantasy author known for nautical and pirate-themed fantasy adventure. He writes the Scimitar Seas series, following the pirate captain Scimitar and her crew across novels including Scimitar Moon and Pirate's Prophecy, and the related Blood Sea Tales, extending the same seafaring fantasy world. Jackson also contributed the novel A Soul for Tsing to Paizo's shared Pathfinder Tales line, and writes the Weapon of Flesh series and its sequel sequence, Weapon of Flesh II, a fantasy saga centered on constructed, weaponized beings. His fiction combines swashbuckling action with worldbuilding rooted in maritime fantasy.
