Chris Eboch

Chris Eboch is an American author based in New Mexico who has published more than a hundred books for young readers, ranging from nonfiction and educational material to fiction for early readers through teens. Her middle-grade novels include the ancient-Egypt mystery The Eyes of Pharaoh, the Maya-set adventure The Well of Sacrifice — widely used in schools — and The Genie's Gift, along with the four-book Haunted series, in which children accompanying a ghost-hunting TV show encounter real spirits. Eboch, who holds an MA in professional writing from Emerson College, also writes craft guides for other authors, including You Can Write for Children and Advanced Plotting, and has sold dozens of articles to markets such as Writer's Digest. Under the pen name Kris Bock, she writes adult romantic-suspense and mystery novels set in the American Southwest.
