Christian Humberg

Christian Humberg (born 1976) is a German writer, editor, and journalist based in Mainz. Alongside Bernd Perplies, he co-wrote the Star Trek Prometheus trilogy, including Fire with Fire, becoming one of the first non-English-speaking authors licensed to write tie-in fiction for the franchise. He has also contributed numerous volumes to the long-running Perry Rhodan science-fiction universe, including entries in the Perry Rhodan NEO relaunch, and to the pulp series Maddrax. His work for younger readers includes the Drachengasse 13 series and, with Perplies, The Guardians of Aquaterra. Humberg shares the 2015 German Fantasy Award for best secondary work, won for Geek Pray Love, co-written with Andrea Bottlinger.
