Christian Klaver

Christian Klaver is an American author of fantasy and science fiction with a noir-inflected style, whose short fiction has appeared in magazines including Escape Pod, Dark Wisdom Anthology, and Anti-Matter. He writes the Sherlock Holmes: The Classified Dossier series, which reimagines Holmes and Watson alongside figures such as Dracula, Mr. Hyde, and Dorian Gray in books including Sherlock Holmes & Count Dracula (2021) and Sherlock Holmes & Dorian Gray (2024), and the Empire of the House of Thorns series, beginning with Justice at Sea (2021) and Shadows Over London (2021). Before turning to writing full-time, Klaver spent two decades working in internet security, after earlier stints as a bookseller, bartender, and martial arts instructor. He lives outside Detroit, Michigan, with his wife, Kimberly.
