Christopher Edge is a British author of science-tinged fiction for children, raised in Manchester and now living in Gloucestershire. He writes stand-alone novels that fuse hard science-fiction ideas, parallel universes, quantum physics, black holes, with reflective, often loss-themed stories for middle-grade readers, among them The Many Worlds of Albie Bright, The Jamie Drake Equation, and The Infinite Lives of Maisie Day. He is also the author of the Penelope Tredwell Mysteries, launched with Twelve Minutes to Midnight and following a Victorian magazine editor turned detective, and of the interactive Escape Room and Fear Files series. His novels have drawn four Carnegie Medal nominations and won the STEAM Children's Book Prize and the Brilliant Book Award; Escape Room was named a Times Children's Book of the Week.
