Christopher Paul Carey

Christopher Paul Carey is an American author and editor closely associated with the literary legacy of Philip Jose Farmer, particularly Farmer's Khokarsa and Wold Newton universes. He co-authored several novels left unfinished or outlined by Farmer, including Gods of Opar: Tales of Lost Khokarsa and The Song of Kwasin, continuing the Opar mythology connected to Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan universe, and edited Farmer's posthumous collections Up from the Bottomless Pit and Other Stories and Venus on the Half-Shell and Others. He also co-edited Tales of the Wold Newton Universe with Win Scott Eckert, and edited Farmerphile, a magazine devoted to Farmer's work, from 2005 to 2007. Carey's own fiction extends into the Pellucidar and Victory Harben series, both connected to the Burroughs-derived pulp adventure tradition.
