Chrys Cymri

Chrys Cymri is the pen name of a British author of contemporary fantasy laced with wry humour. She is best known for the Penny White series, following a Church of England vicar who discovers a hidden world of dragons, unicorns, gryphons and other creatures living alongside modern Britain — beginning with Penny White and the Temptation of Dragons and continuing through titles including The Marriage of Gryphons, The Nest of Nessies and The Business of Bees. Cymri has also written the earlier novels Dragons Can Only Rust and Dragon Reforged, and the Four Kingdoms series. Her fiction places an ordinary parish priest at the center of fantastical, often comic collisions between everyday British life and a hidden world of magical creatures.
