Clay Griffith

Clay Griffith (born 1960) is an American author who writes in collaboration with his wife, Susan Griffith, as a married co-writing team. Together they created the Vampire Empire trilogy for Pyr Books, beginning with The Greyfriar (2010), a steampunk-inflected fantasy set in a future where vampires have driven humanity to the tropics, continued in The Rift Walker and The Kingmakers. They followed it with the gaslamp fantasy series Crown & Key, beginning with The Shadow Revolution, and have also written licensed tie-in fiction for DC Comics properties including The Flash and Arrow. The Griffiths' collaborative novels blend Victorian-inspired settings with supernatural and superhero adventure.
