Cody Goodfellow

Cody Goodfellow is an American horror and bizarro fiction writer, born in 1970 in San Diego, California. His short-story collection All-Monster Action won the Wonderland Book Award for Best Short Story Collection in 2012, recognizing his work within the surreal, boundary-pushing bizarro fiction scene. Goodfellow has written extensively in Lovecraftian horror, contributing to the Cthulhu Mythos tradition through collections such as New Maps of Dream, and has also written tie-in fiction for the pulp-adventure character The Rocketeer. His novels and novellas, including Spore, The Last Goddam Hollywood Movie, and Unseen Empire, combine cosmic horror with satirical, often darkly comic takes on American culture and media. He frequently collaborates with other genre writers on anthologies and shared-world projects, and his fiction is known for merging visceral body horror with pulp and Lovecraftian influences into a distinctive, transgressive style.
