Cody Martin

Cody Martin is an American writer known for his work in shared-world superhero fiction, particularly as a longtime co-author of Mercedes Lackey's Secret World Chronicle, which imagines a world where costumed "metas" have existed since World War II. Alongside Lackey, Dennis Lee, and other collaborators, he helped write installments including World Well Lost (2009), Collision (2015), and Avalanche (2018), continuing a series that began as a serialized podcast in 2006 before being picked up by Baen Books. Martin also writes in the Reboots series, a horror-tinged science-fiction sequence about survivors of a bioengineered apocalypse rebuilding a fractured world. His fiction favors collaborative, ensemble-cast storytelling built on genre staples of superheroes, horror, and post-apocalyptic survival.
