Colleen Gleason is an American author of paranormal and historical romance who lives near Ann Arbor, Michigan. She debuted in January 2007 with The Rest Falls Away, opening the Gardella Vampire Chronicles, a series about a reluctant vampire-slaying Regency heiress that concluded in 2009, and later returned to that world with the steampunk-inflected Stoker & Holmes novels and the Regency Draculia trilogy. Writing as Joss Ware, she created the post-apocalyptic romance series The Envy Chronicles, and as Colleen Cambridge and Alex Mandon she writes historical amateur-sleuth mysteries, including novels featuring fictionalized versions of Agatha Christie and Julia Child. A further pen name, C. M. Gleason, covers her Marina Alexander Adventures. Before writing full-time, Gleason worked in sales, marketing, and insurance, and holds a degree in English and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
